Beverly Rubik, Ph.D

Beverly Rubik, Ph.D

Dr. Beverly Rubik earned her Ph.D. in biophysics at the University of California at Berkeley, and since then, she has published over 95 scientific papers and two books. 

From 1992-1994, she served as one of 18 advisors selected by US Congress to the original Office of Alternative Medicine at the US National Institutes of Health.   

In 1997 Dr. Rubik founded and became president of the Institute for Frontier Science, a 501c3 nonprofit laboratory in Emeryville, California.  

She is a leading scientist internationally known for her research that goes beyond the mainstream and challenges the dominant biomedical paradigm. She serves on the editorial boards of several integrative health journals including Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine and Frontiers in Public Health.  

Dr. Rubik has served as a professor at California Institute for Human Science and Saybrook University, where she taught courses in integrative medicine.  

Her research interests include the full human potential in health and healing; the biofield; energy medicine; and the adverse health effects of wireless communication radiation.

Panelists will discuss approaches to reducing the burden of chronic illness through nutrition, lifestyle choices, and early intervention, and will examine how medical systems might better integrate preventive care, patient education, and holistic health strategies.
